Eric Broekaart nieuw bestuurslid Maastricht Congres Bureau

Eric Broekaart, directeur van het Maastrichtse Expositie en Congres Centrum (MECC) is toegetreden tot het bestuur van het Maastricht Congres Bureau (MCB). Het MCB is een stichting die Maastricht & regio promoot als bestemming voor zakelijke bijeenkomsten. Participanten van de stichting zijn onderverdeeld in 4 zuilen: MECC, VVV Maastricht, Hotels en Overige dienstverleners. Eric Broekaart vertegenwoordigt als bestuurslid het MECC en volgt hiermee voormalig directeur, Ren? Hanssen, op. From March 1st the 50 year old Limburger is appointed Director of the MECC. Eric Broekaart has a broad experience in the exhibition and events industry. Only until last year he was director Sales Exhibitions & Events at Lib?ma where he was commercial responsible for the exhibition and event locations of the company. In the 10 years before, he was working as director of the so called ?IJsselhallen? in Zwolle, where was able to successfully transform the traditional stables into a multifunctional event complex. In addition, he has, in collaboration with Lego, conceived and developed the appealing event Lego World which now attracts over 75,000 visitors.
